HONEY BEES —— YOU DIE WITH US

Have you ever seen an insect that flies with more pride than a honey bee ? When it comes along with a buzz sound, people all in once silence their voices and listen to the buzzing trying to figure out the direction the sound is from. “There it is “, a person spots one bee that enters the room with so much elegance. It catches every pair of eyes in the room and it flies as though it knows it too. It buzzes as though it enjoys the attention that it sought merely with its presence. 

Which other insect would enjoy such attention from everyone ? You see ants, these don’t make a noise even after setting up colonies for them. Or, let’s take a cockroach, they come out of their hideouts only during the night with a thought, not to disturb us during the day when we are busy with our work. 

But the honey bees , these aren’t like that... These boast their coming and want people to look at them with awe. These have your full attention no matter how short their visit is. 

Do you know why  these act with so much pride ? Because these think these look beautiful? Because these give us the sweetest ever honey ? NOOOO.. It’s because these know the VITALITY OF THEIR PRESENCE. These knew if it weren’t for them, the world wouldn’t function normal. These knew there wouldn’t be enough FOOD for anyone to eat. 

How so ? No bees -> no pollination -> no fruits/vegetables -> no seed for another plant to grow -> Decline of resources. 

When the most basic need of a human/being 

is unmet, so will be everything else. There would be disharmony, fights and wars leading to extinction of human race. 

May be that is why we call our beloveds “honey” too. Because we knew our life depend predominantly on them
