BABY! 

Look ! Our Star !! 

Did you look at the sky last night ? How elegant did that seem? Let me swift you to one of your favourite memories that brings joy each time it’s thought about. Think you are on the back seat of bike that your father is driving. You look at everything that’s bright and gleaming. You look at the street lights and think they are moving very fast . You look at rare light of cars and other bikes not giving much thought about it however you can’t stop staring at the red light. You then tilt you head a little and look at the huge white ball that hangs out in the sky magnificently. Being that young you do not realise how beautiful that is yet you do not cease looking at it. You stare at it and introspect why it was following you. You stop looking at it and then look back again to check if it was following even then. It did. 

With age, you still look at the huge white beguiling moon and smile for a moment, however now , you introspect certain events of your life and not quite the existence of the moon itself. You search your soul few times , you search your heart out sometimes, you cherish the memories you had with special people or you call the person you miss the most and speculate the intricacies of them and the moon. You connect with that white sphere in various levels. You cry at it. You smile at it. You rejoice it. You speculate it. You even plan life. 

And, what about the stars ? Have you ever adopted a star for yourself ? If yes, I’m giving you a five. I would look out for it each time I step out and see the night sky. My friend and I would shout , “hey!!! Look !!! Our star!!” while driving amid the traffic here. We talk and laugh about it. We retrospect our lives with it. Well, we found adopting a pet was cliche and reached out to adopt a star. Yes, a star for us. 

We lean back and talk about the slow drift of clouds and the resonating sound of breeze along sea shore. We talked life that way. We left our imprints everywhere we stepped our feet like the stars up in the sky. 

From then till now, the stars have fascinated you and me. Being given the time to stay with our dear ones a little longer, let us lean back, look at night sky, make and cherish memories.
