POSSESSION

Being called someone’s is a wish come true for most of us. We all hope to find someone who’d love us, trust us, take care of us, choose us and be there for us. And for all these to be experienced we think one has to be called someone else’s. This is the set of pattern that’s been followed here. We are to be possessed by someone to get their love. But why ? Why should we possess a person to deliver the love we intend to ? Why do we require a belongingness of the person to care for them. Why should someone be ours ? People aren’t theorems. 

People are subjective. Each one has his/her own desires and yearning; wants and aversions; saturation levels and flaws. They are divergent. Even the like minds have diverse and contradicting gravitations towards other  mind. The person we love is full on dreams too even if they don’t specify it much to us. They sacrifice parts of themselves each time we call them ours. They try to shed pieces of them to fit you. They are under a constant struggle to satisfy our needs just because we called them ours. 

Over a time, as they keep chopping  off parts of them for our sake , they become more of us; they are no longer them; they become us.

We get us and lose them. We get replica of us and lose a person who had his/her own individuality. Now, we are no longer in love with a different person but with a replica of us.
